Kokedama in Japanese means “ball of moss” (koke: sphere, lady: moss). The idea was born in Japan and derives from the ancient Nearai technique, initially designed for the care of bonsai. The kokedama is therefore nothing more than a sphere of earth covered with moss with a plant inside. It can be hung or placed and is ideal for giving a green touch to home environments.Allegra and Carlotta will be your guides in this workshop. In about 90 minutes you will learn the entire process of creating a kokedama, so you can create it as many times as you want. You will also find out which plants are most suitable, and how to regularly take care of your composition. You will have all the material available and you will take home the kokedama that you have made with your own hands! You will put your hands in the dirt, if you are afraid of getting dirty, get a pair of gloves and an apron.
