Starting ideally at 7:30 am from your Hotel, we get a head start on the crowds so we can arrive 120km away at Koh Ker before the hottest time of the day. Take your time and feel at home amongst the ruins without a swarm of tourists negating the experience. If you feel up to it, climb to the top of the Pyramid temple and survey the jungle surrounded by rice fields, or just wander around the base. Then pop over to Prasad Thneng, and/or Prasad Leung to see some of the best endowed Shiva Linga in Cambodia.The next stop is Prasad Bram where the Strangler Figs are reclaiming the temples for the Jungle, being a lot quieter than Angkor Area you can hear birds singing in the Jungle. Grab some local lunch when the sun is high in the sky and then we make our way to the Jungle Temple of Beng Mealea. End your day around 6:30 pm back at your hotel or a Siem Reap restaurant.
